About: Alipurduar Police

Welcome to the official webpage of the Alipurduar District Police. Established in 2014, the Alipurduar District Police is a dedicated law enforcement agency serving the Alipurduar District. As an integral part of the West Bengal Police, we operate under the administrative control of the Ministry of Home and Hill Affairs of West Bengal Government
The Alipurduar District Police was constituted following the bifurcation of the Jalpaiguri District. Our jurisdiction encompasses an area of approximately 2788 square kilometers, serving a population exceeding 1.5 million residents. Our district is comprised of ten police stations:

The Alipurduar District Police is currently led by Shri Y. Raghuvamshi, IPS -The Superintendent of Police. Under his guidance, we strive to deliver exemplary policing services, ensuring the safety and well-being of the community we serve.
